The Ramblegard Bed Pad is designed for use on top of a mattress, under the sheet. The alarm is triggered when the pressure is released from the pad. This wired, standalone version offers flexibility as it will function independently of any nurse call systems. The wired companion monitor features:

- Volume control
- 2 delay settings
- It is battery operated (AAA x 3)
- Robust protective cover
