It has been manufactured from a recycled pulp which has been shown to hold liquids for a minimum of 4 hours. The entire bowl is maceratable in any recognised brand is pulp macerator and reduces the need for excess storage space. Use for queasy patients and help give both reassurances and a target location, should their stomachs turn.
