Child development is at the heart of everything we do here at LearnWell. Each product is thoughtfully created to give young children and older ones with special needs a broad range of sensory learning experiences. Research shows that sensory play builds nerve connections in the brain’s pathways; so, we think about sight, sound, smell, and touch as each product is in development. When developing new product ideas, we listen to the needs of teachers and practitioners, consider current research and work with specialist professionals (paediatric occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, educational psychologists, etc) who support children with additional needs. From their years of experience enabling children to overcome difficulties, they are well placed to advise and help teachers and practitioners pick up on potential problems early - and even prevent them from happening. Getting that specialist knowledge into the hands of teachers and practitioners fills our hearts with joy!
