An important part of early mathematics is understanding what numbers look like, and the Frame Tray Set 12345 is a brilliant way to demonstrate that. The trays can be used to collect and sort anything - stones, marbles, counters etc - and each hollow can be used to hold an item which makes an instant visual representation of how numbers increase. Trays can be placed together to show relativity, for example 3+2 and 4+1 are the same size as 5.
