Which size BS EN 8599-1 first aid kit do I need?

The size you need depends on the number of employees you have and the nature of your workplace.

Low risk (nurseries, offices, care homes, etc)

• Less than 25 people - 1 small kit
• 25-50 people - 1 medium kit
• More than 50 people - 1 large kit per 100 people

High risk (warehouses, factories, working with dangerous chemicals, etc)

• Less than 5 people - 1 small kit
• 5-25 people - 1 medium kit
• More than 25 people - 1 large kit per 100 people
