This Saf-T-Intima IV Catheter System is available in a pack of 25, is specifically designed for patients with difficult veins. Its unique butterfly insertion technique facilitates cannulation, particularly for oncology patients with difficult veins. It features an automated safety mechanism that fully encapsulates the needle, minimising needlestick injuries and blood exposure during insertion. Made from Vialon material with large, soft wings and an integrated extension, this system improves stabilisation, reducing complications and extending catheter dwell times according to CDC guidelines. It is ideal for subcutaneous infusion therapies and IV infusion use.
